"Knoxville police are investigating a hit-and-run that sent two people to the hospital.
It happened before 1 o'clock Thursday morning on Northshore Drive in West Knoxville. Police found the victims in the road in front of the Tin Roof bar. They say the two were walking across the street when someone ran them over and kept going.
Emergency crews transported the victims to UT Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say the impact should have damaged the suspect's windshield. The vehicle is described as a gray or light blue Jaguar SUV.
